UPDATE! WERKR Solo Show At Summerhall for Edinburgh Fringe Festival

UPDATED 31 JULY : Sorry for the delay folks! My WERKR performance exhibition will be postponed for 2 weeks. I will be landing in Edinburgh on 12 August. Stay tuned to my Instagram for more timely updates.
After months of planning, I'm super excited to finally announce my first international LIVE FASHION VANDALISM performance! I will be presenting WERKR during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at the Summerhall Art Center this August in Scotland. For this solo exhibition/performance, I will whip up a vibrant screen printing storm creating an entire body of work on the spot. I will be painting on canvas, clothing, models and anything else that gets in my path. I will also have some new prints available as well as a various assortment of custom art toys. Massive thanks goes out to curator/artist Paul Robertson for making this adventure happen. Here is the official blurb about the show.
{PRESS} EDINBURGH, UK -- An emerging and popular artist from Miami, Ryan the Wheelbarrow is a painter, “fashion vandal” and custom designer of collectable vinyl art toys for the sophisticated and stylish youth market. Unusually for an urban interventionist he works with typography and letters to create overlapping, intense and colourful canvasses but as well as exhibiting his paintings, in a two day event Ryan the Wheelbarrow invites members of the public to join the art process and get their clothes screen-printed live for a small fee of £10 per person – thus creating a wearable 1of1 work of art. This will be the first time RtW will have exhibited outside of the United States.
Live Fashion Vandalism - the public performance will take place in the Lower Church Gallery at 3pm on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th August. Tickets from Summerhall Box Office.
